Brauer Housing Developments Inc. o/a Brauer Homes is a 34-year-old building development company with a long list of successes and is solely owned by the Brauer family.

We have created Brauer Living Pods to address affordability in today’s housing market. Most people struggle to save the 10% - 20% deposit required to purchase a home making it extremely difficult to enter the housing market. Young adults feel very discouraged about ever being able to purchase their first home.  Brauer Living Pods are affordable and our goal is to assist people of many demographics realize homeownership.

The base price for a Living Pod starts at $150,000 plus site visit, delivery, installation, and HST. Our base model is a complete, comfortable, and functional home that can be upgraded with additional living space, conveniences, and automated enhancements. Selecting your Living Pod and its options is simple and enjoyable. Some uses are ADU’s (Accessory Dwelling Units), 1 bedroom suites, studio suites, long-term or short-term rentals, home offices, yoga studios, cottages, and bunkies. Matching Storage and Gear Pods are also available for $8000. Matching stand-alone bedroom units are available for $32,000.

Installation takes five days from delivery to move-in ready. First, your site is assessed and prepared. Your Living Pod is built and finished at our facility in Belleville. At your site we install engineered foundation piles with beam catch brackets. A lowboy truck delivers your Living Pod safely to you. The Living Pod is lifted onto the pile foundations and bolted securely in place. We then connect to water, electrical, and sewer services. Your Living Pod is now fully functional and move-in ready.

The energy-efficient size of the Living Pods and the short build/installation process reduces your carbon footprint. Your included garden boxes provide a personal farm-to-table experience which crafts a sustainable lifestyle, lowers your costs, and contributes to a greener future — core components of Brauer Living Pods.

The Brauer Living Pods are located in Belleville and ready to be toured by appointment.
